Urhobo Progress Union Europe
The rules for using this website. The Forum itself is governed by the Bye-laws.
These terms apply to the public website of Urhobo Progress Union Europe Leaders Forum (“the Forum”, “we”, “us”). By visiting or using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
The internal constitution of the Forum is the Bye-laws (adopted 2024). These website terms do not replace the Bye-laws. Where they overlap, the Bye-laws govern membership, officers, meetings, discipline and the Forum’s own affairs.
This site is published by Urhobo Progress Union Europe Leaders Forum, a continental platform of Urhobo Progress Union (UPU) branch leaders across Europe. Public pages describe the Forum’s vision, mission, leadership and work. Forum membership is set out in the Bye-laws: five representatives from each UPU branch in Europe, not an open paid signup on this website.
Creating an account on this site (where that feature is offered) is a way to use the website. It is not, by itself, admission to the Forum.
You may browse public pages, contact the Forum through the form, and (if you choose) donate using the bank details shown on the site. You agree to:
We may suspend or remove access if we reasonably believe these terms have been broken.
Text, images, names, titles and layout on this site are provided for information about the Forum and Urhobo community life in Europe. They are not legal, financial or immigration advice. Officer titles and photographs are published in good faith; if something is out of date, write to us through the contact page.
You may share links to public pages. You may not copy large parts of the site, the Forum’s name, or its visual identity in a way that suggests you speak for the Forum, without written permission.
Voluntary donations may be made by bank transfer to the account published on this site, in the name Urhobo Progress Union Europe Leaders Forum, Allied Irish Bank (AIB). Always check the account name, IBAN and BIC before you send money. We do not ask for donations by unusual payment methods or personal accounts. A donation does not buy membership, a vote, or an officer role.
Branch yearly dues (€200 per UPU branch in Europe) are a Bye-laws matter between branches and the Forum, not a checkout on this website.
The site may contain links to other websites (for example a designer credit). We are not responsible for those sites, their content, or their privacy practices.
We aim to keep the site available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Pages may be updated, withdrawn or temporarily unavailable for maintenance or other reasons.
To the extent permitted by law, the Forum is not liable for loss or damage arising from use of, or inability to use, this website, or from reliance on information published here, except where that liability cannot be excluded (for example death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).
Personal data you send through this site is handled as described in our Privacy policy.
We may update these terms. The version on this page is the current one. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
These terms are intended to be read under the laws of Ireland, where the Forum’s published bank account is held, without limiting any rights you may have as a consumer in your own country of residence in the European Union or the United Kingdom.
Questions about these terms: use the contact page.
